About Miriam

Miriam received a Higher Art qualification at school but didn’t paint for about 30 years afterwards. She started her renewed art career with watercolours then oils. She mainly paints in acrylics now as she loves the versatility and quick drying qualities of the paints. Miriam is drawn to colourful paintings, but has many styles of painting. She is always experimenting and sometimes adds adornments to her works in Art Deco. She first became involved with CREW and the great work they are doing to restore the Art Deco Cinema in 2023. Her work is displayed in many of the houses across Perthshire and beyond.
