CREW Photography operates as the Auchterarder Camera Club, meeting every Monday evening from October through March. The natural synergy between the club’s established activities and the aspirations of the wider CREW community led to the formation of this new group under the leadership of Ken Swa. Together, they aim to nurture a welcoming environment where photography enthusiasts – of all skill levels – can learn, experiment, and grow.
Whether members arrive as complete novices with a bit of curiosity or as more experienced photographers eager to capture compelling images, CREW Photography provides the support needed to turn inspiration into reality. The group explores a wide range of subjects and techniques, taking advantage of the incredible landscapes, people, and environments that make our world so rich with photographic potential. Sessions include practical workshops, themed challenges, group outings, and peer feedback – helping individuals build skills while enjoying the creative journey.
A key focus of CREW Photography is ensuring that members’ work is celebrated and shared. The group actively organises opportunities for public exhibition, both online and in person, allowing photographers to showcase their images to the community. Through shared learning, collaboration, and regular display of work, CREW Photography continues to inspire creativity and connection through the art of capturing moments.
